We stumbled across “Ecofont” the other day. It’s a program that adds holes to a system font such as Arial, Verdana and Times New Roman, and prints them out as if they have been involved in a shootout at the OK Corral. They don’t lose their form, just use less ink to make up the inner shapes. And because it’s been designed to work on regular body text sizes, their website claims it saves up to 50% ink consumption.

We certainly like the idea, especially if it goes a little way to saving the planet. Although, maybe we should simply write and print less…

We had a good time on the road, visiting each of the cities and meeting with the agents and bmi sales team. We must have had to eat our own weight in frankfurters, which was all too easily done! It’s all over now until the next tour.

We’re currently limbering up and preparing for our mini tour of Britain next week. We’ll be on the road visiting corporate travel agents across the country, promoting the new bmi route launch to Frankfurt from East Midlands Airport.

The promotional tour will see us (along with Mike and his catering team) delivering frankfurter sausages served in rolls with sauerkraut to a number of locations from the South East to the North East over the course of a week.

Loughborough Town Hall offers a fantastic array of shows throughout the year to a diverse audience. Their annual Christmas pantomime is regionally acclaimed and tickets sell out fast.

Following last years hugely successful Beauty and the Beast, the town hall selected Masters Allen to create a suite of marketing materials that would create impact and set the scene for a bigger and better production this year.

Masters Allen worked on providing a polished and fitting creative to entice audiences from far and wide appealing to families and in particular children. The promotional tools were commissioned in a variety of formats from billboards and banners to posters, bookmarks and stickers.

The Masters Allen team were involved in the photo shoot for the pantomime promotional pictures. They enjoyed meeting the full cast including Cinderella, Prince Charming, the Fairy Godmother and the Ugly Sister Halitosia, played by Martin Ballard, of BBC Radio Leicester.

Cinderella started in November with tickets selling fast. The show will run until the 9^th January 2011. Proving to be the best panto of them all!
